This cottage design was a joint effort between Outside In Construction and their client, who wanted to create a cozy and comfortable living space for their family in a private secluded cove on the water.
The home was built within the existing footprint criteria of the shorefront requirements, while maximizing the views and access to the waterfront and sandy beach.
The home has two floors, each with its own charm and functionality. The first floor has a cute, covered farmers porch that leads to an entry, where there is a guest bedroom and a full bathroom with laundry. The entry opens to a beautiful kitchen with a coffee nook, where the family can enjoy their morning brew. Here you will find a full dining room table and a living room with a fireplace, where the family can gather and relax. The living room overlooks a spacious deck that is right on the water’s edge.
The second floor has a master bedroom that has large windows facing the water, with a stunning view of the cove. The master bedroom has a pass-through walk-in closet and a full bathroom with custom tile shower and soaking tub. Next to the master bedroom is a spacious room with custom-built bunk beds, where the kids can sleep comfortably.
The exterior of the property has an outdoor sitting patio area that seamlessly integrates to a beautiful private sandy beach and dock, where the family can swim, boat, or sunbathe.
The client is very satisfied with the design and final result that Outside In Construction delivered, and they are now enjoying their dream home on the water. They have also received many compliments from their neighbors and friends, who are impressed by the new home.
